Microsoft Corp. announced today it is offering Pocket PC owners a free reference book and Pocket PC software collection designed to help them learn about their Pocket PCs more quickly and get the most out of them. Part of the "for Dummies" series, the "Pocket PC StarterPak for Dummies" reference takes a lighthearted approach in presenting easy-to-understand instructional content, including tips on how to quickly master the vast functionality the Pocket PC offers. The guide helps Pocket PC owners explore this functionality, including access to the Internet, multimedia and networking that makes the Pocket PC more than a simple organizer. The StarterPak also includes a CD containing 10 Pocket PC software applications from various solution providers, which will help owners unlock the power of their Pocket PCs.
