Microsoft Corp. Chairman and co-founder Bill Gates (news - web sites) has made a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission to sell 3 million common shares of the world's largest software company. The shares had a market value of $193 million when he made the filing on Jan. 29, the document showed. Gates sold a total of 13 million shares valued at more than $881 million between Oct. 30, 2000 and Jan. 26, 2001. | ||
