In addition to being able to synchronize and connect directly to the desktop, your Pocket PC can be used to access e-mail, Web, and other content through wired and wireless connections. These options include wired and wireless modems and LAN cards among others. Connecting on the device is easy, especially if you set up all your connections and input all your preferences ahead of time. To save time and help you set up these connections and preferences, use the Microsoft Pocket PC Connection Wizard. This wizard will run on your desktop and will help you set up your Pocket PC to accept a variety of connection options. The wizard will take you through a step-by-step process for setting up a modem connection, Virtual Private Network connection, and a cell phone connection, among others. The wizard will also automatically configure other information, such as your e-mail and instant messaging settings. This information is automatically taken from your desktop computer and will be put on your Pocket PC, saving you time. | ||
