MGM has announced a new special edition reissue of the John Frankenheimer classic The Manchurian Candidate. Remastered in 1.75:1 anamorphic widescreen and Dolby 5.1 surround, extras include an audio commentary with the late Frankenheimer, interviews with Frankenheimer, Frank Sinatra and George Axelrod, two featurettes with William Friedkin and Angela Lansbury, trivia and production notes, a still gallery and the theatrical trailer. Retail will be only $14.95 and street date is July 13th. | ||
