At the core of what Microsoft calls its Dynamic Systems Initiative is the System Definition Model (SDM). Using XML as an underlying data format, the SDM is designed to capture the basic structure and definitions of hardware and software, including information such as configuration schemas, "health" models and operational policies. | ||
