Microsoft to Launch Two Limited Edition Xboxes in Japan | |

Two limited edition Xbox consoles will be released in Japan in the coming months to commemorate the two-year anniversary of the console and the launch of Dead or Alive Ultimate. Microsoft will offer two types of systems, an Xbox Pure White Limited, a white console and controller, and a Xbox Kasumi-chan Blue, semi-transparent blue console and controller named after the popular Dead or Alive character. Only 1000 units of the white console will be produced, and 5000 units of the Kasumi console will be available. Much like the previously released Panzer Dragoon Orta Limited Edition Xbox, both the Pure White and Kasumi-chan Blue Xboxes are expected to become collectors items on the secondary market. Both consoles come bundled with DVD player kits and Xbox Live starter kits featuring one year's free membership. | ||
