What do I mean by "Mac OS X Panther makes me feel like I haven't felt since Mac OS 7?" If you were around and using Mac OS 6 and waiting for Mac OS 7 for what seemed like forever, you know what I mean about Mac OS 7. Mac OS 7 was the first Mac OS to be able to run multiple applications simultaneously. It was an option under Mac OS 6 and it wasn't quite the same. System 7 introduced color icons, separate folders for control panels and extensions within the System Folder, virtual memory, personal file sharing, QuickTime, and the feeling of greatness and possibility. | ||
