If for some reason you're a Mac user who's still clinging tenaciously to Mac OS 9, the time is right to let it go once and for all. We resisted too. But the transition isn't difficult. And the fact is thatApple Computer keeps adding such cool features that the siren's call of Mac OS X is increasingly hard to resist. One feature worth praise is Expose, useful for anyone who often works with many active applications and documents open at once. Hit a single key and all those windows instantly shrink down to a size where you can pick the one you want to bring to the front. Another key makes all open windows and documents hide off-screen so you can see the desktop. Yet another highlights only windows from the current application. Set your watches, as it won't be long before Microsoft figures out a way to create a similar feature for Windows. | ||
