Iolo has just released a new revision 3.6e of their useful set of utilities 'SytemMechanic'. This new release fixes many Windows XP compatibility issues as well as the following enhancements/bugs fixes:

  • Added: Miscellaneous Windows XP compatibility enhancements in various tools
  • Added: Expert mode in StartUp Manager
  • Added: More support for later versions of some applications in Privacy tool
  • Added: New enhanced iolo Task Agent tool replaces Scheduled Maintenance applet
  • Fixed: Minor issues with Invalid Uninstaller tool
  • Fixed: Incorrect recovered space reported when entering and then immediately exiting privacy tool
  • Fixed: Incorrect report of missing winsock components in NetBooster tool

Registered users can update their software using the inline software updater.
