Macromedia has released the final version of Flash Player 7, and a selection of demos of its recently-upgraded MX 2004 products. Flash Player 7 now performs almost as fast on a Mac as it does on a PC, the company claims. An improved compiler in Flash, together with improvements in the Player, mean performance has been improved up to ten times in common applications, it said. End users of Flash applications will see faster graphics, video playback, component initialization and better memory handling, it claimed. | ||
