GRAPHICS GIANT Nvidia posted its second quarter financial results last night, with sales only slightly up, but with profits soaring. The firm said that its revenues for Q2 were $459.8 million and its net profit was £24.2 million, compared a profit of $5.3 million in the same quarter last year. Nvidia claims that it's captured 70% of DX9 based desktops and it's still got a huge chunk of the notebook market – revenue was up 59% in this sector compared to the same quarter last year. | ||
