ATI's Stock Rises After XBox Chip Rumor | |

The internet rumor that Microsoft is dropping Nvidia in favor of ATI for the graphic chip supplier of their next-generation XBox helped ATI's stock rise 64 cents, or 7.7 percent, to $8.55 on Nasdaq on Friday. Nvidia's stock, however, dropped to $1.79, or 7 percent, at $23.68 on Nasdaq. Neither Nvidia, Microsoft, or ATI commented, but analysts believe this report, rumored on gaming sites over, as a rumor. | ||
