Warner Home Video has a major celebration in store for the 60th anniversary of Casablanca, perhaps the greatest motion picture romance of all time. Streeting on August 5th, this new two-disc special edition will feature a newly remastered transfer directly from original nitrate picture and sound elements and presented in the film's original 1.37:1 theatrical aspect ratio. Extras include a tremendous find, a full 10 minutes of recently discovered deleted scenes and outtakes, plus two audio commentary tracks with film critic Roger Ebert and the other with historian Rudy Behlmer, "The Children Remember" featurette with heirs to the stars, the documentaries "You Must Remember This: The Making of Casablanca" and "Bacall on Bogart," the original "Screen Guild Players Radio Production" with the film's stars, scoring session outtakes, and trailers. Retail is $26.95. | ||
