LONDON, May 28 (Reuters) - IDT Corporation IDTc.N , a U.S. telecoms company with links to European cable investor John Malone, said on Wednesday it had bought a 24 percent stake in British cable company Telewest Communications Plc TWT.L . IDT bought the stake from U.S. software company Microsoft Corp. MSFT.O , according to a source familiar with the deal.
