When we first unpacked Gigabyte's 8KNXP Ultra motherboard, featuring Intel's 875P chipset, we spent several minutes just goggling at everything else on the board. The 8KNXP supports just about every disc connectivity standard you can imagine: Despite all those drive controllers, we stuck with Intel's ICH5R Serial ATA RAID functionality for actual benchmarking, so we could compare the Gigabyte with the other controllers, and the desire to be able to compare the results to other 875P motherboards we're testing. But those other connectors are there, if you need them. | ||
