SCi Mulling Title For Conflict: Desert Storm Sequel | |

Following a recent report in UK newspaper The Guardian--which mentioned that UK-based SCi Games has registered the name "Back to Baghdad" as a trademark for games, magazines, books, and cards--we spoke to a representative of the company about the new trademark in an attempt to find out if it might replace the previously announced title, Conflict: Desert Sabre. According to SCi, the name Back to Baghdad has in fact been registered on behalf of Gotham Games, which published Conflict: Desert Storm in North America, and it currently has no intention of using the name in Europe. SCi also stated that it has no plans to release anything other than games under the Conflict brand and that any game bearing the Back to Baghdad name would be several years away since it doesn't even exist on paper at this time. | ||
