Microsoft France Temporarily Halts Production of Works 2001 Suite | |

Microsoft France has recently identified a bug that only affect the french version of Works 2001 Suite on CD-Rom only. This issue can cause the setup to hang when users attempt to install their new software. As a result, Microsoft France has decided to stop the software production until an updated version is available. Elsewhere Microsoft Works 2001 Suite CD products are being remove from shops' shelves. French users that have already purchased the product have to call the 0825.827.829 (choice 1) to request an updated release of Works Suite 2001 CD-Rom edition (that'll be available in approximately one month). They will also receive technical instructions to install the product before they receive the revised version. | ||
