Twelve Arrested in Xbox Sting | |

British police have arrested 12 individuals in Birmingham for selling counterfeit Xbox games and music discs. Reportedly, all 12 individuals were part of a piracy ring operating throughout local markets. A total of 15,000 pirated discs were confiscated in the raid, all of which were discovered in two cargo vans nearby the outdoor markets. According to a police spokesperson the raid was a result of more than a month of undercover intelligence gathering by consumer watchdog groups. | ||
