Brief: Microsoft show still on despite war, terrorism fears | |

Despite the elevated national terrorism alert and imminent war with Iraq, Microsoft Corp. has no plans to shorten its Mobility Developer conference here. The conference runs through Friday at the Ernest N. Morail Convention Center and is being held in conjunction with the annual Cellular Telephone and Internet Association (CTIA) Conference. Microsoft Chairman and Chief Software Architect Bill Gates delivered a keynote address at the CTIA conference, which ends today. Although some exhibitors said attendance at the CTIA show was poor, Microsoft plans to stick to its schedule for the Mobility Developer conference, which goes through Friday. | ||
