It got one in the form of a pre-Christmas sales rush sparked by an innovative marketing tactic many consumers found too good to refuse.
About 230,000 Xbox consoles have been sold in Australia. More than 100,000 of these walked out retailers doors and into Australian lounge rooms last November alone.
