Intel, AMD cut processor prices | |

Chipmakers Intel and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) recently announced price cuts on their processor lines for desktops and servers/workstations, with discounts reaching as high as 21% for Intel and 31.8% for AMD. AMD on February 24 announced price cuts on several of its product lines as well. Besides desktop and server processors, the chipmaker also slashed prices of its desktop replacement Mobile Athlon XP, standard Mobile Athlon XP and desktop-use Duron line. | ||
