We have approved your application for participation in the Windows XP Media Center Edition Update Beta program. As a beta tester for Windows XP Media Center Edition Update, your participation and input is highly valued and necessary in order to make this product great. We have selected you from a large pool of applicants because we feel that you have the best to offer in terms of accomplishing this goal.
You will soon receive a beta PC along with all the necessary components to test Windows XP Media Center Edition. The PC keyboard and power cable will be mailed to you separately from your beta PC. These items will be mailed to you directly from your local Microsoft office. Additionally, we will send you a separate email with instructions on how to log on to our BetaPlace web site and to access the beta newsgroup.
