Auditors clocked the NEC Express5800/1320Xc at a blazing 433,107 transactions per minute (tpmC), running the 64-bit version of Windows Server 2003, Datacenter Edition, and SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition (64-bit). Only one system has ever posted a higher TPC-C non-clustered score, but it achieved only 5 percent more performanceeven though it had four times as many processors, and cost more than twice as much per transaction3. | ||
