Logitech has just announced the launch of two new digital camera/webcam devices. The ClickSmart 310 & ClickSmart 510 offers the convenience of digital cameras along with the easiness of webcams to transmit live videos over the internet. Those new imaging devices can be linked to your PC or used independently. The exclusive 'QuickSync' technology will instantly download the pictures you've taken on your PC. The entry model ClickSmart 310 can record up to 160 pictures and 15 seconds of video footage (while being not connected to the PC). It can take pictures at the maximim resolution of 640x480. The high end ClickSmart 510 offers a 1.3 Megapixels CCD sensor for high quality photos. Provided with a 8Mb Smart Media card, the apparatus can store up to 480 pictures or 90 seconds of video with sound. The ClickSmart 510 also integrates a microphone along with a flash. Logitech is expected to ship first units in november with a suggested retail price of $99 for the ClickSmart 310 and $215 for the ClickSmart 510. | ||
