Taiwan’s Ya Hsin Industrial said it is in talks to supply PCBs for Microsoft’s Xbox game console and could land the orders as early as April.
Talks with Microsoft began last year, said Ya Hsin, and though initial orders would be small in volume, the status as PCB supplier to the world’s top two game console players would boost the company’s market reputation.
Ya Hsin, Taiwan’s second-largest PCB maker, has made PCBs for Sony’s PlayStation 2 (PS2), Xbox archrival and the number one game console on the market, since late 2001.
