Anchor Bay Entertainment has updated their "In the Future" section of their website with news on upcoming releases.
First up, director Michael Mann has personally overseen and approved a remastered definitive version of Manhunter. Manhunter: Director's Cut will sport a brand-new audio commentary, a rarity for Mann, along with other features, and will be released this summer.
Finally coming to DVD is Wes Craven's early horror shocker, The Hills Have Eyes. This fall release will be a 2-disc special edition and is tentatively scheduled to include new DTS & Dolby EX audio tracks, an audio commentary, interviews, trailers, and more.
Lastly, full season sets of Xena: Warrior Princess will be released beginning this April, and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys beginning this June. Both will be sporting newly remastered transfers and Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks, and the collections are expected to include bonus features.
