Recently, we took a look at the Seagate Barracuda V ATA drive from Seagate. With several upgrades and updates from the successful Barracuda IV line of hard drives, the Barracuda V ATA performed admirably in our tests and proved itself as a worthy upgrade option. The Barracuda V ATA was only part of an upgraded line of hard drives, as there is a whole other family of consumer Seagate drives that have become available as well.
