Recently, we took a look at the Seagate Barracuda V ATA drive from Seagate. With several upgrades and updates from the successful Barracuda IV line of hard drives, the Barracuda V ATA performed admirably in our tests and proved itself as a worthy upgrade option. The Barracuda V ATA was only part of an upgraded line of hard drives, as there is a whole other family of consumer Seagate drives that have become available as well. Seagate has taken the industry’s first step in making one of the newest and most exciting storage technologies widely available: Serial ATA is here, and it’s here in style. | ||
