This six-disc set features all season 7 episodes presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen and English 2.0 Dolby surround, and lots of extras: audio commentary on "First Person Shooter" by Chris Carter, "All Things" by Gilligan Anderson, and "Je Souhaite" by Vince Gilligan, 11 deleted scenes, the 30-minute documentary "The Truth About Season 7," the featurette"The X-Files Profiles," 13 special effects vignettes with commentary by Paul Rabwin, TV spots, and a new ROM interactive game. Retail is $149.95.
Also on tap from Fox Home Entertainment is Dark Angel: Season 1. This six-disc set is presented in full screen and Dolby 2.0 surround, with plenty of extras: Audio commentary on "Pilot" by Charles Eglee and David Nutter, "Rising" by Charles Eglee and Renee Echevarria, "And I Am A Camera" by Charles Eglee, Renee Echevarria and Charles Woolnaugh, and "...And Jesus Bought A Casserole" by Michael Weatherly and Jessica Alba, the featurettes "Genesis," "Seattle Ain't What It Used To Be" and "Creating An X-5," audition tapes, a gag reel, and a trailer for James Cameron's "Dark Angel" video game.
