MSN Israel to soon terminate relationship with Commtouch | |

Commtouch Software (Nasdaq:CTCH) and MSN Israel's relationship will soon be be terminated as the latter upgrades its email system, Hotmail. Three years ago, MSN Israel established the local email service based on technology provided by Commtouch. In early 2002, MSN Israel decided to upgrade its email system and selected Microsoft servers for this purpose. Microsoft Israel holds a 49.9% stake in MSN Israel. The new system is now available to the 200,000 Hotmail users in Israel. Over the next month, both technologies will operate in parallel, but on January 20, MSN Israel will stop using Commtouch's technology; MSN Israel is asking its users to start using the new system by then. | ||
