The Register reports that a recent redesign of Microsoft's XBox, besides lowering manufacturing costs, also defeats all current "mod chips" for the gaming system. It may also render useless the work of MIT graduate student Andrew Huang, who built special equipment to capture encryption codes as they traveled over the XBox's internal buses. | ||
