Quiet town, Alphaville. Quiet, safe and friendly - very friendly. As soon as you arrive, the citizens rally round, offering to show you the ropes - how to earn a living, buy and decorate a home. Or where to find a square meal, a good book on mechanical engineering, or piano lessons. There's no crime here, no violence. It's nothing like that other place just a few Internet addresses away - a strange, medieval land called Britannia, where visitors and veterans alike face endless perils in a desperate fight for survival. And yet, Britannia's a friendly place as well, since a few buddies are good life insurance around here. | ||
