On March 4th, Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment will debut it's biggest batch of Superbit reissues yet, with eight titles in all. High-performance releases that drop all the extras to maximize video and audio quality, each release includes an anamorphic widescreen transfer of the film, Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 surround tracks, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese subtitles, simplified menus, and no extras. Titles due on the 4th include: From Here to Eternity, Heavy Metal, Legends of the Fall, Seven Years in Tibet, Das Boot: The Director's Cut (on two-discs), and the Jim Henson cult favorites Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal. Retail is $27.95 each. | ||
