  New Mice Designed By "Ghost in the Shell," "Gundam" Animators

Shinza notes the imminent arrival of two limited-edition computer mice designed by renowned Japanese animators Masamune Shiro and Hajime Katoki, best known for their involvement with the hit anime titles Ghost in the Shell and Gundam, respectively. Produced by Elecom Co., Ltd. and dubbed the M.A.P.P. series (Mechanical Designer-Accelerated Peripheral Products), the two mouse designs are available in three colors: black, silver, and white. Also included is a translated interview booklet containing the animators' "design philosophies and tricks of the trade." Both models will be released in Japan on November 22 at a suggested retail price of 7,500 yen. Shinza.com is currently accepting pre-orders for both the Masamune and Hajime models with estimated delivery by December 21.
