Although the game is titled Blade II, the game has very little to do with the movie (which is probably a good thing). Another Blade-related name for the title would have been more appropriate. The game is actually set after the events that occurred in the movie Blade II, with the only features directly related to the movie being some lines of dialogue, and the appearance of one of Blades most useful weapons, the UV bomb. The plot of the game has you pursuing members of various clans of vampires to thwart a gradually unfolding scheme involving genetic research and experimentation amongst vampires (a plot clearly inspired by the movie). As one would expect from Blades dark world, Blade II is an action game with lots of violence and gore. |
