The software giant says it will not cut prices on Windows to compete with Lindows OS, the low-cost consumer Linux distribution. Microsoft says prices on Wal-Mart's Lindows PC are being kept artificially low. Microsoft will not cut the price on its Windows operating system to compete with a $199 (about £127) personal computer that runs rival operating software, the No. 1 software company's chief executive said on Wednesday. | ||
