  First Info and Pictures of Dell's Pocket PC

Dell is preparing its Pocket PC and no one was sure of the spec's until reecently. PDA France have managed to get hold of the official Dell documents. Here are the official specs of the Pocket PC "Clemente":

  • 185 Grams
  • 130 X 80 X 17 mm
  • JogDial
  • INTEL Xscale PXA250 400Mhz or 300 MHz (according to the model)
  • 64MB RAM, 48MB Rom (or 32MB RAM and 32MB ROM)
  • 1 Compact Slot standard Flash II
  • 1 Slot SD
  • removable Battery Li-Ion 1440 mAh
  • 2 Leds (?)
  • Craddle USB with slot of refill for second battery (like PocketGear)
  • Wi-Fi 802.11b supported via USB Compact Flash II Card
  • Bluetooth supported via USB Compact Flash II Card

Some of the accessories that come included is a high capacity battery, a second battery replacement (removable), and 2 types of keyboard - foldable and SnapOn. The Celemente will be marketed at $299 and should be a very competitive product for that price because of the 2 batteries that come with it.
