Howard Schmidt, former chief security officer at Microsoft, had a full schedule this week — not surprising considering security has been on the top of the technology agenda this week. Schmidt is vice chairman of the president's Critical Infrastructure Protection Board, which released a long-awaited plan Wednesday aimed at defending cyberspace from attacks. The proposal, called the National Strategy to Secure Cyberspace, makes scores of recommendations on what individuals, businesses and government agencies can do. | ||
