Thanks Adrian. The MP3 format opened the doors to digital music for millions of consumers, many of whom now have significant collections of music in that format. Microsoft recognized the popularity of the MP3 format early on. In fact, Microsoft was the first company to introduce MP3 playback support at the operating system level, and is a registered licensee of the reference-standard Fraunhofer MP3 codec for playback. With the final release of Windows XP, Microsoft takes digital media and MP3 support to a whole new level. | ||
