No, you're not hallucinating - there's finally going to be a device that has "Windows Powered" and "CDMA" in the same breath. The Samsung SCH-i600 is a full-fledged Smartphone that functions on the CDMA and AMPS network on the 800 and 1900 Mhz frequencies. It looks like it will be sold by Verizon Wireless, but I imagine CDMA carriers across the US and Canada will be snapping it up quickly. What took so long? FCC approval of course! That seems to be the biggest hurdle for wireless Pocket PCs to clear - it's much more complex to build a device with integrated wireless than a stand-alone device. | ||
