Thanks Claude. The DirectX 8.1 interim SDK release will only install on Windows XP RC1 and above. If you are testing Window XP Client Beta 2, please continue using DirectX 8.1 Beta 1 until the release of Windows XP RC1. This release includes close to 320 new bug fixes since the DirectX 8.1 Beta released. Many of these fixes address performance issues, improving the users experience and overall stability.
