The Halo movie famously fell through. Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson and his WingNut Films production company were at one time attached to the film, to be directed by Neill Blomkamp, but the project was indefinitely postponed in 2006. Instead, Jackson and Blomkamp would go on to produce and direct, respectively, the sci-fi film District 9. | ||
