This is a sneek peek screenshot from Stewart's upcoming article on Windows XP for Power Users. As we can see in the comments over the past couple weeks, people have been arguing that they do not like the new Luna/Whistler theme etc and it will not be productive, and will be annoying and would rather stick with the Windows 2000 look. Well, this is proof that you can change everything back to normal (You can even change the icons) and you wouldn't have to stick with the new stylish look if you don't like it. This way you can still use the core enhancements of Windows XP without going through any major changes. Check it out! | ||

| Well, WinXP is an incremental release, so it's not revolutionary, however there are several new features for professional users including Terminal Services which is huge. For personal users, it's night and day compared with WinME. The features are too numerous to list. |

Ok, just to get a couple things clear to certain idiots (*cough* #1)
Luna is just a theme, the ONLY thing that is hardwired into the OS is the start menu button pic and the icons.... That's IT. I would be saying some other things, but my post would get deleted.... freaken moron! |

| #24: You can only get Terminal Services in Win2K Server. Whereas Terminal Serivces (or some version of it) ships in ALL version of WinXP. |

| #39: The guts of the UI are completely, or nearly completely different. As opposed to being fixed, they are now completely modular which allows themes like Luna to be applied. It may not look like much on the top, but it's pretty big on the bottom. |

| #49: Yes. I'm not sure it'll be as easy as Winamp, though, simply because there are more windows used in many different ways than Winamp, but generally: YES. |
