One of the big questions brewing about LinuxWorld San Francisco is how attendees at the open-source tradeshow will respond to the new kid on the block. This year, one of the booths in the LinuxWorld "Rookery," section, billed as the event's headquarters for "new, up-and-coming companies -- a place where you can watch companies hatch and grow right before your eyes," belongs to Microsoft. | ||

Maybe their booth will have one of those plexiglass shields like you see at convienence stores. :-)
If anything bad does happen, it only reinforces claims of negativity and childishness in the Linux community. Not to mention the ABM attitude. In the long run, it only hurts the growth of the community and the software's marketshare. |
