The public beta for Windows Live Messenger 8.1 has officially launched off Windows Live Ideas today. According to the Messenger Blog, the following features and improvements are in Windows Live Messenger 8.1: Previous private builds of Windows Live Messenger 8.1 also had a new Locations feature. This has been removed and is unknown if it will make it back. Windows Live Messenger 8.1 also supposedly offfers enhancements to work better on Windows Vista as well although Messenger still has issues with Flash on Vista. | ||
