Auto-Correct
A small new feature that is likely to to help you
avoid the common errors caused by mistyping the syntax of an address
is called Auto-Correct. This functions in the Address Bar, it
automatically corrects common typos (Mistakes) in the
"http://" and "ftp://" part of an address. For
example, if you miss one of the "t"s from
"http://" it will be added in by the browser itself to
avoid you getting a message that the site doesn't exist. It also
corrects mistakes like "ftp:. etc
The Auto-Complete function adds to this
Auto-Correct function by offering the addresses of pages that you
have previously visited, which both saves time and reduces the
likelihood of mistyping a long address.
