At startup, ntldr will show a menu if c:\boot.ini has 2 or more entries, by design.

What you need to do is delete the wrong line, or make a new boot.ini. To make a new boot.ini, rename it to something else, boot into recovery console, and type bootcfg /rebuild. It's very important you rename it first, otherwise bootcfg will just add another line to it.

Or you could just delete the boot.ini. If you dont have a boot.ini ntldr will boot you into the first partition, in the windows folder.

Or you could edit the boot.ini file, and change the timeout to 0 or a negative value. For instance the boot.ini's 2nd line should say timeout=30, change that to timeout=0 or timeout=-1

Search support.microsoft.com on boot.ini and bootcfg and you'll find a bunch of good articles.
