| HI, ok so my favorite game skyrim started to have a problem with the shadows (i know yur thinking problem with the game or patch problem but no please read on) the shadows were sqaurish and patchy, being a rpg the shadows shift every 10 secs or so and when they do they have a strobing effect, worst of all there are the same patchy strobing shadows on my character that are located on diff places on him depending on what time of day it is in the game. so i restarted the xbox and it didnt help, i loaded different saves and i have same problem on every save i deleted the game itself from my hdd, tried it and then redownloaded it with no success. also when the problems first started occuring i had just deleted a dlc to buy a player home in the game (glitch wih the dlc that everyone had) and redownloaded it after i had bought the house. now im not sure if the problem started immediately or shortly after that. the latest patch came out and the problem was still not fixed, and i deleted the dlc and kept it that way for a while with no luck and i have even taken my hard drive out and started a new game and had the same problems, but heres the kicker, i put my disc into my brothers xbox and the same problem persisted so! its just the disc afterall right? no, i bought a brand spankin new skyrim and still had the same problem. ive also tried it on a diff tv. i have tried every possible combination of restarting the xbox, deleting and redownloading from hdd, deleting and redownloading the dlc. nothing works. id also like to note that my xbox has not done anything of the sort to my other games thy all work fine and the xbox is the white version bought new about a year or 2 ago. so this problem is above my intelligence and i have no idea what to do exept for buying a new xbox and yet anther skyrim. i have tried 2 other forums including bethesdas (makers of skyrim) where everyone knows everything about the game and no one knew what was going on so if you have any idea what is going on please help. thank you |
