If you want my opinion - your NUTS to do this. I would only do that hack on a machine i dont care about, i wouldnt do this on my main machine! I've seens inf hacks that supposidly remove wmp, but they end up totally fucking up the system. I'm talking major errors. I highly doubt media player is screwing up your system, you probably have a virus or something. Now why dont u tell us your problem so we can help u fix it? I have a feeling a friend of yours told you it was a bad media player. A lot of people just reinstall windows at even a hint of a problem.

So why dont u just not use media player while your online? If you format and have the same problem - ITS HARDWARE. You dont have a software issue here.
It sounds like a resource conflict to me. Your sound card and NIC are probably conflicting. Go into msinfo32 > click the first thing > click sharing/conflicts or whatever. Look for your sound card or NIC. Updating the bios or updating the drivers for the NIC and Sound card might fix this. -gosh |
