Ok all, I have a question. I have 2 machines running on Windows 7 64, 1 machine running Windows XP 32, and IPod Touch, a PS3, and a wireless printer. I have them networked together but as a Work network, and not all the devices show up on the network map, but strangely they are all working. my question is though, I would like to get my network setup so that all the devices running on the network show up under network map correctly. i know there are some differences between windows 7 and XP, which is why I set it up as a work network originally. Anyone have any suggestions?

First, I'm assuming this is a wireless network. Second, the iPod Touch won't show up on the network, no matter what. Now, several steps: 1. Make sure the Workgroup name is the same for ALL computers (i.e. Workgroup, MyHome, whatever) 2. On the Win7 machines, make sure the network type is set to private, and not public. All three computers should now show up on the network map. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf MacBook Pro 15" (Intel i5 2.40GHz), Gateway 15.4" Laptop, Windows Vista Ultimate , Photoshop CS5

Yes it is a split between wired and wireless through a router 1 desktop (admin) Win7 machine is hardwired, Xp Machine hardwired, Win7 Laptop wireless, ps3 wireless, printer wireless. Workgroups are all the same and on win7 machines the network is setup private. The issue I am having is that the wireless printer does not show up under group in network map but is usable by all machines on the network and the ps3 does not show up under network map either, I understand it would show up as unknown.
