-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As far as I know their still only beta testing the streamer but is anyone out there got it to work? I've read on a few forums with people running the same gear that it works fine but unless you run the same gear there is no support out there. Roxio offer no tech support and respond to no Question about it and some router companies (Belkin) its impossible to get past the level one techs and I cant find a direct tech email for them. So here it is... I am running the new Mac Pro with OSX 10.5.5 and version (9.0.1) of toast with the streamer. And my network gear is a belkin ADSL2+ Modem With wireless G Plus MIMO router. These are the issues outline by most forums Enable Your UPNP (I have UPNP enabled) 2) You need to manually forward the port 10080 (Now this I have no idea how to do on a belkin router) If some one can help with this then we might be able to get it running for people on Belkin routers. The issues is at the moment you can access from the computer you are streaming from (wow thats useful) but when you try to access the video from a computer else where or from another computer on the network it does not work there are two ways to remotely login to you streaming server Put in the actual address... http://streamer.roxio.com/yourusername I've found no evidance of anyone having got the above way of working or use... http://127.0.0.1:10080/login.html I've seen this in use and its stable. So all you network geeks and software heads your help would be much appreciated, thanks for taking the time to read the thread. Craig.
